WHAT KIND OF TV MOUNT DO YOU NEED?

TV wall-mounts range from basic designs to those with flexibility for rotation. You need to think about your needs and what you want your new bracket to do. All of our TV mounts follow compatibility standards set by the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA). The type of bracket you choose must also be compatible with the wall on which you plan to mount the TV. A flat mount is the simplest, lowest-cost type of mount. This mount has no angle adjustments and is a good choice for plasma TVs. Tilt mount brackets, make it easy for you to adjust a TV that is positioned above the optimum viewing level, i.e. those mounted above a fireplace or high up on a bedroom wall. WHERE AND WHAT HEIGHT TO MOUNT YOUR TV?

There are many issues to consider when mounting your TV, like the TV size and where you plan on placing your television in the room. Distance from the television to where your couch is positioned and the height of the couch are also important considerations. But there is a common rule of thumb that the center of the LED TV should be at the eye level of the viewer. If you plan on having your television mounted over the fireplace, it is ideally placed between four to twelve inches above the height of your mantelpiece. Most sofa seating heights are close to 45 cm above the floor, and eye Level for an adult seated in a relaxed manner is about 60cm above the seat. This puts the perfect height for your TV at 90cm – 120cm.
